We're playing catch up this week with our first two episodes launching back to back! This episode we talk about the wonders of No More Heroes 2, the fearsome monstrosity that is World of Warcraft and the difference between homage and complete rip-off with 3D Dot Game Heroes and Darksiders, among other games.

Episode 1

In our opening episode we get the ball rolling with everything from Resident Evil 5 and No More Heroes to Mass Effect and Demon's Souls. We talk about games we have been playing, games we want to play and we revisit the cult classic Cheetah-men 2, among other titles from our gaming past.

New Game Start

Before we can think to quick save, before we've died on that god forsaken boss or even completed level 1-1, we have to start a new game. This podcast (or even this title) can't exist without some sort of beginning: some context before we can continue.

First off, we are gamers who found, at one point or another, that we talk a lot about games. At work we talk about the games we're currently playing. At dinner we gush over the games we're excited for. We sit and reminisce about the good old days of gaming, when we were kids who could spend a weekend devoted solely to beating Zelda. We argue about which games are good and which are not. We praise the classics, glossing over their faults.

We may be gamers: who come from numerous gaming backgrounds. We are not, however, journalists or media professionals. This blog, this podcast and all the ramblings found within act as an outlet for our love of gaming. It is a means to share our personal concerns and opinions of the current state of the gaming industry, a way of encouraging people to play a lesser known title, or approach an old one from a new angle. Most importantly, this blog documents the lives of average gamers who will always find time to Continue their game.
