  1. Your points on the lack of Flash on portable Apple devices are a little misguided. While Adobe Flash is a powerful and universal multimedia asset, it is also buggy and prone to crashes, and goes against the move towards open web standards. Flash has always had problems running smoothly on Macs, and Apple is simply ensuring that you get the best possible performance on their hardware. They are not forcing any websites to change, but are rather letting their hardware sales do the talking. Like it or not, they are helping to change the way people surf the web, just as Flash did many years ago, and with the advances of HTML5 and other new web standards, this should only be seen as a positive thing. Flash is being overlooked simply because other, newer tools are coming along to replace it.
